Junk Miles (Brenna Blixen, book 2) by Liz Reinhardt

I can’t wait for the 3rd book to come out Slow Twitch it sounds good so far, i hope it’s not all from Saxon’s POV tho cause i need more Brenna and Jake! I will refrain from specifics, but I will say that the Jake-or-Saxon dilemma intensifies, as they both get some Brenna Blixen action in this installment!

I think the most important thing I can say about this series is that the author is so fantastic with the character development and peeling back the layers of each character as the relationships between the three of them shift.

She could be snotty and always thought she knew more than Jake, but then Mlles loved that Jake grew some “balls.

It wasn’t meant to be, since I met my husband shortly after moving. I’m interested to see where book three takes our trio of reinharddt. Brenna Blixen has the perfect boyfriend.

The friend and I both felt horrible about it after the fact. I think the things that occur to her needed to happen.

Junk Miles : A Brenna Blixen Novel by Liz Reinhardt (2012, Paperback)

And Liz Reinhardt managed to write it so well. How many times have you quickly ushered a friend into the restroom, and told them, “He’s such a jerk! I enjoy Reinhardt’s writing style and appreciate that she’s not afraid to shy away from writing a realistic POV from a teens perspective. There was a lot of bad decisions here that I wasn’t very pleased about.

Your display name should be at least 2 characters long. I love bad boys, and Saxon is definitely that, but Jake is just a total sweetheart and treats Brenna like a queen. Knowing Jake, is perfect for her, but wanting to be with Saxon as well. Please use your head in the next book use it big time. I was extremely frustrated with her in this story. God forbid the new girlfriend of the leading character’s ex-boyfriend is a virgin.

And Brenna please pretty please don’t annoy me that much on the third book alright? To say I love Sense and Sensibility is an understatement, and Let me say that I have been recommending this series to everyone I know.

If you guessed Saxon, then you got it right. She also learns that every single thing she does has rippling repercussions, some that fill her with total regret.

I love both Jake and Saxon — they are both amazing characters, but both flawed in their own ways, and even though I definitely have a favourite, both boys really appealed to me in this one. I’m having a hard time beginning to review this book, because I disliked it SO MUCH, and I want to be fair and not completely rude about it, but it’s hard when I really can’t stand the book itself or any of the characters in it.

I think Jake is definitely more compatible with Brenna right now, but I still think that Saxon has potential to be the most compatible with Brenna in the long run. Liz Reinhardt rfinhardt readers on an emotional ride from New Jersey to Paris and back again.

You definitely annoyed me on this one. This book has teens in sexual situations. Friend is a Four Letter Word. She anticipated spending her vacation snuggling with Jake Kelly, ice-skating, drinking cocoa, and relaxing But in the end, this was a very well written story of a teen love triangle, and a girl trying her hardest to work through her confusion.

Brenna is still figuring herself out AND still drawn to both boys.

So much of Junk Miles was about just that, soul searching and trying to find the lz of who you are with and apart from someone you love. I almost feel bad for Jake’s character, because he’s portrayed as dumb and gorgeous. Brenna is surprised at the Airport to see Saxon Maclean who is going to France too.
